Duomo di Milano
When I planned out my entire European-summer trip I had to assign an amount of days to each city I wanted to visit. Everything had to be well though out and planned because I wanted to see so much in so little time. Milan was one of the cities that I just couldn’t pass up. I knew I had to see the Milan Cathedral even if it meant only being in the city for one day. And let me tell you, it was a well-worth pit stop.
The Duomo di Milano is the third largest church in the world and it is beyond this universe! I can’t even begin to imagine how such detailed and complex architecture was created. During my entire visit I was in such awe and overwhelmed by the beauty — I could cry! I spent almost my entire day at the cathedral and followed up with some pizza, gelato, and shopping at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II — which is the world’s oldest shopping mall.
